Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights

Let’s talk Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights.
Sexual Human Rights is a Fundamental Right, essential in achieving Sustainable Development, and Gender Equality.
One should not be discriminated for their sexual orientation in respect to their Privacy, Freedom, Dignity and Access to Health Facilities for Reproductive Health Information and attention.
Among Teenagers there is an issue about the Consent age for Sex (18 Years) in Kenya of which violation of the same is punished by the Law. The Government should work with law enforcers and the Local Communities to reduce cases of Sexual Violence e.g Rape, GBV and FGM, which are some of the leading cases of Sexual Reproductive Rights Violations in Our Country.
Teenagers and even adults should be educated to make informed Decisions about their Sexuality and Lives through use of Contraceptives, Family planning options, Abstinence especially among Teenagers, and General Responsible Behaviour through Mentorship Programs.

Proper Menstrual Hygiene and supplies, eg Pads and other personal effects makes Women and Girls comfortable and more reproductive. Circumcision in Boys and Men is also key.
Sensitization and Sexual Reproductive Health Information helps reduce the number of Sexually Transmitted Infections, Early Marriages, Teenage Pregnancies, FGM, and the number of school dropouts. This helps in Achieving Sustainable Development and Peaceful Coexistence in our Society.
